The food was good I had catfish dinner with greens and baked beans cuz they didn't have any back macaroni and cheese which I wanted to try. Drinks are Super expensive for no reason I ordered a frozen already ready Margarita with bottom shelf liquor in it and a shooter of patron Blanco and it was 30 that's ridiculous to me other neighboring bar. I can at least get two drinks for that price. Bur otherwise it was a decent spot

I recently had my birthday party there. It was awesome, from the esthetics, to the music to the bottle service EVERYTHING was on point. My out of town guest really enjoyed themselves. And will definitely return. My party was on June 15th which was Fathers Day and my family and friends are still talking about my party! The Browns Brothers and Staff at Bernice’s was phenomenal. I absolutely love this black own establishment the owners are friendly. I've been coming here since day one. The food and drinks are amazing and the customer service is fundamental. Every time I come here Kre always professional and helpful and keeps a positive attitude and a beautiful smile on her face. I highly recommend this place for ladies night out, date night or just time alone.

Love the atmosphere! Music selection was on point RnB from the 90’s and 2000 which is my favorite genre of music. Service was great...now let’s get to the food....I ordered the turkey tips and smoked wings chef’s kiss. The turkey tips were tender and the smoke wings were seasoned to perfection. The food was not drowned and barbecue sauce, which was a plus they also serve additional sauce on the side. The fries were seasoned and not overcooked. I didn’t order an alcohol beverage however the restaurant does have a full bar and offers a variety mixed drinks and cocktails. The restaurant also has nights where they have karaoke and live music.

I took my mom and family to the Mother’s and Mimosas brunch for Mother’s Day and it was a great time! The unlimited food buffet was delicious and mimosas were bottomless. We enjoyed the DJ who played the perfect R&B music while everyone sang along and vibed out. I’ve been to Bernice’s a few other times and the food is always good and the atmosphere is very welcoming. It’s so wonderful to have a gem like this spot in the south suburbs! Definitely check them out!!!!

Really nice spot — it gave off a cool speakeasy vibe. I went for karaoke night and the energy was great! Candice was our server and she was amazing — super friendly and knowledgeable. The catfish was fire, and my sister had the burger, which was also really good. Definitely recommend checking this place out if you’re looking for good food, good vibes, and a fun night out.

I had the pleasure of visiting Bernice's Grill, a recently opened black-owned business in Hazelcrest, Illinois, and it was a delightful surprise! From the moment we walked in, the owners and staff made us feel right at home. The food was truly amazing, offering a delicious culinary experience that left us wanting more. The cocktails were top-notch, and the prices were very affordable, making it a great value for the quality of food and service. What set Bernice's Grill apart even more was the entertainment they provided each night. Whether it was a live band, a DJ spinning great tunes, or even karaoke, there was always something special happening to enhance the dining experience. It's clear that they put a lot of thought and effort into making sure their guests have a fantastic time. If you find yourself in Chicago, Bernice's Grill is a must-visit spot. I really enjoyed this restaurant! I sat on the patio, and it was a very nice environment. They played a lot of great music too. I ordered the catfish with a side of dirty rice and greens. The catfish was very fresh, and the sides were so good! I really loved the greens.
